How It Works
01

Load the Bait
Start With a clean empty Bottle
a 2-liter soda bottle or a 5-liter water bottle works great, but any size will do. Drop in a generous amount of raw meat such as fish heads, chicken liver, or leftover meat scraps. This bait will attract flies quickly and effectively.
02

Assemble
Place the trap inside the bottle
Remove the trap from it’s packaging and place the narrow part of the trap inside the opening of the bottle, using the clips provided, select the appropriate clip size and attach it to the mouth of the bottle with the trap inside.
03

Place it
Find the sunniest place and set it up
Place the prepared bottle outdoors in a sunny, open area — ideal locations include near trash bins, compost heaps, barns, or animal enclosures where flies typically gather. Anywhere that you’ve noticed attracts flies the most.
04

Fly Collection
Now watch our Eco fly trap in action
Flies will go in and none will go out. Once the bottle has filled to about 3/4s, detach the fly trap, close the bottle with the lid and through the bottle in the trash. Wash the trap or rinse it off or leave it as is and attach a new bottle.
